Supervisor Safety Training
This Supervisor Safety Training program is designed to equip supervisors in British Columbia with the essential knowledge and skills to effectively manage workplace health and safety. The course aligns with the latest WorkSafeBC regulations and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) safety standards to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their responsibilities in preventing workplace injuries and promoting a safe and compliant work environment.
Participants will learn key safety leadership concepts, including hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency preparedness, and accident investigation. Emphasis is placed on understanding WorkSafeBC’s legal requirements, the supervisor’s role in ensuring compliance, and how to foster a culture of safety within the organization.
Through interactive lessons, case studies, and practical exercises, this course prepares supervisors to:
- Understand and apply WorkSafeBC’s regulations and CSA standards in daily operations
- Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures to reduce risks
